NYC Premiere: Sex and the City

Only a few days left for the movie to hit the big screen
and my nerves are all piling up at one point.
 I am that excited.
The movie just had its NYC premeire and here's how the world's favorite women dressed up:



Sarah Jessica Parker was dressed in a silver coloured floor-length Nina Ricci gown and 19th-century jewels from Fred Leighton and I am incredibly in love with the dress! So gorgeous!



Why do I feel like Kim Cattral has lost her mind? Or her designer?
Oh, yes, the boobs. 
Yeesh, Kim! What happened?



Cynthia Nixon looks washed out and terribly weak. The dress hangs on her neck.
Not the best choice.



Kristin Davis looks absolutely stunning in this Donna Karan number.
I think she looks awesome and so very very cute!
I adore the dress on her and she deserves a big pat on her back!
Love it, Kristin! 

Cate or Mischa?

Help me decide: Who looks more wonderful?!
I love both their looks and my god, Cate's Ruffles! So freaking gorgeous!
Mischa's gown is so...beautiful, my heart sings(I'm a little poetic today, pardon my bad lines)!

But I am not deciding who looks better; that's up to you!

Taylor Swift...Right or Wrong?

I love Taylor Swift and have a soft corner for her songs. Especially, 'I'd lie'. I find it really sweet
and the guy reminds me of my boyfriend. Everything is same; the green eyed boy to his ability to play the guitar!
Taylor looks really nice and I love her hair! It's gorgeous and so are her features. But I for once, can't seem to decide whether I hate or love the dress. Yes, I know is looks like tin and silver gift wrappers sewed into a dress but she does look nice...

Bring out the Best!:Met Costume Gala:

I am so glad I'm alive and well in this world. Honestly, who else will appreciate the beautiful way the stars dressed up for the Met Costume Gala other than me? *grins*

Here's who I fawned over:



Blake shows how to wear a LBD the perfect way. I love this dress on her although it somewhat reminds me of Penelope's dress at the Oscars. The black gloves add an interesting super hero touch.




Dita Von Teese dresses perfectly, I have to admit! I adore this old school glamour dress on her. Where can I find one for myself??




Naomi Watts had a nice dress, and I rather fancy the star. Very Marilyn-Super-Hero-In-One.




Emmy Rossumm is very adorable. 
And this dress just made her look even more cuter! 
I love it!




Julia Roberts can never fail you. Never. Mark my word. Doesn't she just look 
breathtakingly beautiful in this dress?
 



Diane Kruger was probably the only one to have the guts to wear a short dress. So adorably too! I like those shoes too, although not so much with the dress.




Damn, how to some women do it huh? New mama but so damn fit! Must be the 'happy' glow. Love it on J.Lo.

Many people adore Hilary Duff. I am not one of them. I for some reason, cannot stand her. 
But now I am forced to admit, she isn't too bad. 
I mean, with a choice like this, you can't be bad can you? :)

Gwyneth Paltrow: Seriously Cool.

Contrary to what people think, I think Gywneth looks positively ravishing with that messy updo and those breathtaking shoes. Of course, with legs like that, any type of shoes will do. Don't mind my picture quality, but she looked much better in real life then she does in my pictures.

You know what songs playing in my head when I look at Gwyneth?

...Shut up and drive...

All she needs is a bike in the background.

Scary Movie 5. Oh wait, sorry, Scary Person 1.

I understand if you suddenly jump back in horror after seeing this. I had a similar reaction. My niece who was beside me, shrieked and is currently hiding under the bed, refusing to come out.
Hey he's just two! He can't distinguish between Evan Rachel Wood and Cruella De Ville now, can he?



Whoever dressed Rachel and applied that make up needs to be fired. 
Honey, you're going to a premiere, not to a fun reunion gathering with ol' vampire buddies.
I can just imagine a line of blood slowly drooling out of her mouth. 
Dark stained lips, Black nail polish, pale skin...need I go on?



The dress was almost bearable. Keyword: Almost.

Sigh.

Prom Night for the Stars.

I see strapless gowns everywhere now, its become like a uniform among celebrities and even among my own peers. Which I, am happy to say, don't mind at all! I love how the strapless sweet heart necklines flatter collar bones and jaw lines.
It seems I am not the only one to believe this. The premiere of 'Prom Night' had most of the
stars trailing down the red carpet looking hawt in their strapless gowns.



Brittany Snow looked completely like she was heading for a prom and I so so love her in this
dress! I think she looked like the ultimate prom queen with that flawless make up and jewellery. Those gorgeous chandelier earrings are currently in my 'Must Have!!' List and 
she's done well choosing golden strappy sandals with her outfit. Thumbs up for Brittany!



I really actually had no idea who was Minka Kelly before seeing this picture. So far, she seems rather sweet doesn't she? 
Although I don't really like those shoes with her dress, she looks good.
The word which comes to mind, however, is plain.



Jessica Stroup has a great body so she even managed to look sexy in this purple fusion of ugly dreams. This dress could have been a pretty one had it not been that flowery part sticking to
her dress on the left. Instead of adding character to the dress, it just ruins the whole effect. 
Tsk Tsk. Such a Pity.

Jlo vs Pam

27th of March saw Jennifer Lopez and Pamela Anderson walking down the Red Carpet with a twist (well at least Pamela).

I found Jennifer looking quite...normal. I am so used to seeing her in some odd sparkling, revealing dress that this one took me by surprise.
Especially the neck. (TIP: Try to never wear round necks. They make your chest form an ugly shape.)
But then she's a new mum so I suppose she's taking it easy.

Pamela however lived up to my expectations. Or lack of. Whichever way.
The white dress had the most horrible neck line I have ever seen. Yeah, we all know she's curvy but this...just plain weird.

What do you think? Think they looked hot?

Fashion Pirate at the Nickelodeon's Choice Awards.

The Nick Awards were held yesterday, the 29Th of March and stars trailed down the red carpet, where the teenagers dressed like the stars they are, and the stars dressed like teenagers they are not.



It is said that Rihanna can get away with anything.
I am not so sure its true now.



No, no no! Jennifer, what has happened to your taste? You look gorgeous in the outfits you wear in Ghost Whisperer, so whathappened?



Jordan Sparks wore the right color on the wrong dress. Maybe it's the angle of the photograph that's making her look odd. Let's hope.



Hayden looks gorgeous, like always. She always does in red. The back is a bit unsettling and the bag and shoes don't match with her look, but otherwise, she looks wonderful!



Ashley Simpson is not someone I like but I have to admit, she looks quite good. Her shoes, however, are a different story.



Cameron Diaz is either going through a bad time or her designer has fled. My god, what is she wearing?? She looks like she desperately wants to be a kid. Even kids don't wear stuff like these!



Miley Cyrus is everywhere now. I swear, I see her face on every magazine and channel. She's really hit it big. I like this dress on her. She looks very elegant, doesn't she? And she's only fifteen!



Miranda Cosgrove looks quite nice in her blue dress. Somehow, I don't like the shoes on her. Oh, they are a nice pair. But it doesn't quite fetch the effect Miranda is going for.
